Entry #16 - Manual

This page is a very basic manual for my quads where I record basic config and tech info such as flight controller ESCs and settings I need or like to remember to apply.


UARTs

  • Smart Audio/Tramp Telemetry gets wired to  TX port of a free UART
  • ESC Telemetry goes to an RX port of a free UART, All ESC TX pads are wired to a single RX pin.


Chameleon 6


  • FC Matek F405 with PDB
  • UART1- Smart Port
  • UART2 - RX XSR - inversion hack
  • UART3 - ESC Telemetry
  • UART4 - Tramp Telemetry
  • ESCs Wraith 32 35 A motors 2 and 4 reversed


F1-6


  • FC Matek F405  AIO
  • TX1 Tramp Telemetry white
  • RX2 SBus RX - XSR-M/E Orange
  • PWM Signal 5 softserial 1 - Smart port Blue
  • RX3 ESX telemetry Blue
  • ESCs Wraith32 Plus 50A
  • Motors 2 and 3 reversed
  Yaw 270 degrees rotate.

  • TX4 Tramp Telemetry white
  • RX2 SBus RX - XSR-M/E Orange
  • PWM Signal 5 softserial 1 - Smart port Blue
  • RX5 ESX telemetry Blue
  • ESCs Wraith32 35A
  • Motors 2 and 3 reversed

Smart Port for Matek F4 AIO

  • Type “resource motor 5 none” in CLI, ENTER,
  • Type “resource serial_tx 11 A15” in CLI, ENTER
  • Type “Save”, ENTER
  • Connect the inverted telemetry signal to S5 pad
